With more than 25 years of experience in international tax planning and transfer pricing experience, Okkie has acted for many multinational clients in setting up international structures, structuring international transactions, analysing transfer pricing risks and implementing transfer pricing models. Okkie is a qualified Chartered Accounted and has worked within the legal environment for over 15 years, gaining valuable legal and commercial experience on implementing international structures, transfer pricing models and controversy management. He has experience in acting as the key technical transfer pricing expert to a multinational corporation in preparing for transfer pricing court cases against Revenue Authorities and is currently on retainer with a multinational corporation operating in the steel industry.

After spending 13 years as a Tax Executive and the law firm ENSAfrica and one year at BakerMcKenzie, Okkie started his own international structuring and transfer pricing practice in 2019 focussing on the structuring of international transaction and groups and the transfer pricing planning and risk analysis for multi-national corporations with a general emphasis on complex domestic and international tax and exchange control issues.
