After completing his articles in 2012, Wynand joined Schalk Pieterse as an associate. He has since developed a keen understanding of the law in general, but equally as important, the ability to find solutions and to negotiate the best outcomes for clients. Since 2017, when Wynand was appointed as a Director, he gained further valuable experience through his financial and management roles within the firm.

Currently Wynand specialises in insolvency law, in particular the voluntary winding up of businesses, where he is proficient with assisting and managing the complexities and personal liability aspects of liquidations and sequestrations. In addition, he also focusses on Request for Remission of Penalties (RFR`s).

Wynand is also a devoted family man who cherishes each moment with his family, in particular his beautiful wife and two daughters. When he is not with his family, he enjoys a round of golf, a ride on his motorcycle or a good book.
