James Moolman

James is an attorney based out of the Cape Town and Tygervalley offices. He graduated with an LLB from Nelson Mandela University in 2021. Prior to joining TRM Tax Attorneys, he completed his articles at a corporate and commercial firm where he gained valuable experience practising across various fields of law, including civil, commercial, and administrative law.

With a particular interest in dispute resolution, he regularly represents taxpayers in proceedings before the Tax Court, High Court, and Supreme Court of Appeal. His practice focuses on tax disputes and litigation, including matters relating to VAT, income tax, PAYE, customs and excise, and mining royalties. James adopts a strategic and client-focused approach to navigate the complex tax landscape and ensure the protection of taxpayer rights.

He is currently enrolled for an MCom (Tax) at Stellenbosch University and maintains a strong focus on developments in tax and legal practice to provide clients with the highest level of service.
